Performance Opportunities:

If you wish to perform at Artomatic, please send an email to us including a brief explanation of your intent. Please reserve photos and MP3s for your Artomatic profile (you will create this during the registration process.)

[If you have already been booked on Cabaret and Electric Stages, please read this update on performance logistics.]

The event runs from May 9 - June 15, 2008 and will be open from 5pm til 10pm Wednesday and Thursday, 11am to 2am Friday and Saturday, and Sundays 12noon to 10pm. Artomatic is closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

Venues:

  • The Electric Stage is nightclub-sized venue for louder acts. Sound and lighting equipment will be provided. Performers are encouraged to complement our sound system with their own amplifiers, microphones and cables in order to best fit their sound reinforcement needs. The Electric Stage may be reached at music@artomatic.org.

  • The Cabaret Stage is for acts with less extensive load ins, such as acoustic groups. As in the Electric Stage, sound and lighting will be provided but please remember to bring anything required for your act. The Cabaret Stage will also host collaborative events between artists working in different disciplines, both performing and non-performing. The Cabaret Stage may be reached at cabaret@artomatic.org.

  • The Lounge is a coffee house setting for performances such as poetry readings or intimate solo performances. The Lounge may be reached at poetry@artomatic.org.

  • The Theatre / Dance Stage may be reached at theatre@artomatic.org and dance at dance@artomatic.org.

  • The Film Room / Auditorium may be reached at film@artomatic.org.

Please note: No equipment can be brought into the building through the lobby. There is a loading lock in the rear of the building. All equipment must be brought through this entrance and then taken upstairs by the freight elevator.
