Project 4orty 5ive, a rock band from Montgomery County, Maryland, started in January of 2001. In 2003 the band immersed itself in several recording studios with the intent to create a distinctive album that would intertwine melody, harmony, strength and power. The band self-produced its debut album, "The Destructive Use of Intelligence", which saw the light of day in June of 2006. In 2007, Project 4orty 5ive started playing various venues in the Washington DC/Baltimore area and has been gaining momentum in the local music scene ever since.
