I was born in Pakistan and raised in Saudi Arabia for thirteen years. Got my Bachelors in Fine Arts from National College of Arts, Lahore, Pakistan with concentration in Miniature painting. There i learned masters painting techniques which were not limited to just painting but i also learned how to make my own Wasli (handmade paper), brushes and paints (Gouache). I learned several painting styles from different regions like Pahari, Mughal and Persian are just to name the few. I got my MFA degree from University of Maryland, College Park, where i extensively explored several other mediums other then miniature painting. I made sculpture, installations, video projections and videos. Currently i am exhibiting my artwork nationally and internationally. I have also attached my resume.
